Wayne and Deborah Towle have been in the wood finishing business since 1980. They refinish existing woodwork, removing old finishes to expose the beauty of the wood under layers of old shellac, varnish or paint. In addition, they work with their clients to create new one-of-a-kind finishes for custom millwork, kitchen cabinets, floors and furniture. "We work with our clients, designers and architects and help choose the right color and finish, creating that special look" says Wayne.
Other services include color blending and matching, fine wood repair, touching up and reviving existing finishes without stripping them, french polishing, oiling and waxing. "We take great pride in our work. We can match newly added woodwork to the woodwork that has been in the home for 100 years and on the flip side, we can make brand new woodwork look like it has the richness and patina of woodwork that has been there for 100 years."
All of their employees are highly skilled craftsmen/women and come with backgrounds in furniture refinishing, painting, color theory, art, conservation and millworking, to name a few.
